About Us

You are the Driver. We are your GPS.
Let's Get There Together.

Philosophy for Care
Our approach centers on asking meaningful, sometimes difficult questions. One of our guiding principles is this: instead of asking what's wrong with you, ask what happened to you. We believe that environment, upbringing, and lived experiences — especially adverse childhood events — shape who we are, how we cope, and how we see ourselves and the world. Understanding these experiences is the first step toward breaking free from patterns that no longer serve us and building healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Our Mission
To deliver effective, compassionate, and high-quality mental health care that helps individuals move from surviving to truly thriving. We are committed to expanding access and reducing stigma within Afro-Caribbean, African-American, Latina, Asian, and all underserved communities — where mental health care is often misunderstood, underutilized, or inaccessible. We welcome all people, and we are deeply committed to helping each person understand that their past does not have to define their future.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help close the growing gap in access to mental health care. We are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan — meeting the urgent need for more providers at a time when access matters most.
Meet Shirline Jean, MSN APRN PMHNP
With over 15 years of nursing experience, my passion for psychiatry grew from the profound privilege of walking alongside people at their lowest points as they do the work to become their best selves. I work with adults ages 18 to 60 — especially those who appear strong and put-together on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed or barely holding it together on the inside. Born and raised in Boston to Haitian immigrant parents, my cultural roots are central to who I am as a provider and give me a deep appreciation for identity, family, and the shared human experience. Everyone who walks through my door deserves care that is respectful, culturally responsive, and compassionate — and that is the standard I hold myself to every single day.
